Cleopatra Linen Poster 1963

Cleopatra was, at one point, one of the most expensive movies ever made. So much so that the cost of the film nearly caused Twentieth Century Fox to go bankrupt. The film's production was riddled with problems - all well documented. The movie was financially successful for Fox, but at this point, the movie lore is more exciting than the movie itself. The set designs and costumes are particularly note-worthy, as they are both lavish and exquisite. If you haven't seen Cleopatra, it is worth watching at least once just to say you've seen it.

This restored linen poster is in Fine+ condition and features the leads of the film -- Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and Rex Harrison. Despite being restored, this poster is fabulous and would look great on display.

Ghost in the Shell 2017

American live-action adaptations of anime franchises is a topic I'm particularly invested in. While most are adequate, some adaptations do stand out; Speed Racer is arguably the best adaptation of an anime franchise (and hell, it's a fun film), and Alita: Battle Angel was also great. Dragon Ball Evolution was so bad it's almost good, and then there's the absolute garbage festival that is Ghost in the Shell. While visually stunning, the storyline and acting fell harshly on its face. The saving grace of this movie was the visuals and special effects. It's clear that great care was taken to make this movie look like the original anime. It is worth watching at least once, especially if you're a fan of the original series.

This unrestored poster is noted as being almost unused and in Very Fine / Near Mint condition. The poster is truly beautiful, with bright and vibrant colors. This is a great piece for a number of collectors, including anime fans or people who like bad movies.

Phantom of the Paradise 1974

On the topic of so-bad-they're-good films, Phantom of the Paradise is certainly up there. Inspired by The Phantom of the Opera, Faust, and The Picture of Dorian Gray, this musical horror movie is certainly a lot of fun to watch. The movie was notably popular in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where the film has been screened off and on since its 1974 release. In 2005 there was even a festival held in honor of the movie. Phantom of the Paradise was criticized heavily on its release, but has become a popular cult classic and has received positive reviews in the decades since its release. Shout! Factory released a comprehensive Blu-ray of the film in 2014, which can still be found today.

This unrestored poster is noted as being in Very Fine condition. This is a beautiful poster. The "neon" is vibrant, and the characters are over the top. This poster oozes cool, and would look great in any poster collection!
