After much work and planning, Viper Comics is proud to announce the launch of its new imprint, an all horror- based line of comics and graphic novels entitled Black Mamba Books. The new imprint is set to officially launch with the release of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes! in October 2008.

A "special Comic-Con advance edition" of Issue 1 of the AKT! comic which will be available to a select few at this year's Comic- Con 2008 in San Diego July 24-27. Viper is also currently in negotiations with Tony Todd (Candyman, Final Destination 3, Chuck TV Show, 24 TV show), Christa Campbell (Day of the Dead, The Wicker Man, Kraken: Tentacles of the Deep, 2001 Maniacs), and The Frog Brothers' Jamison Newlander (Lost Boys: The Tribe, The Blob), and Corey Feldman (Lost Boys: The Tribe, Terror Inside, Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys, Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go!) to bring their original horror stories to Black Mamba Books.
