  • Classic Sega game, just got better! Must Sega Game!

This game is a blast from the past, a game created when megabits were expensive for companies to use, This was one of the first 16bit cartridges re-released on sega cd. my memory of this game isn't 100% but I noticed the longer cutscenes, and of course the soundtrack in full stereo and now people actually do talk to you, where on the cartridge you got to read text. Sega games were the best of there day! they didn't have HDTV, DVD, or BLU-RAY, but some how they still found a way to write a great story and bring it to life! This game came out around the time the movie "TOTAL RECALL" came out and I always thought the stories were a bit alike! That to me is a good think as I love that movie, and still love this game too! Buy this game!

  • Flashback Preview

FLASHBACK: The Quest for Identity is a unique game, in that it is considered an interactive movie. If one were to glance at the game, they might think they were watching an animated film, not playing a game. The opening scene is of a young man being shot down over a jungle, who is on the run after stealing a ship. After regaining consciousness, you (as the aforementioned thief) don’t know who you are, why you are there, or where you came from. As you venture through seven levels on six different worlds, asking questions of others as well as of yourself, you realize that you’re also on the run from someone who wants you dead. The story, which is told with the help of 75 cinematic sequences, is a tale shrouded in mystery and suspense, and one that you will hardly believe!

  • not beter than the genesis.

If you played the genesis version, your not missing much from this one. Sega CD version has music, and that is nice. but the loading time for the cinimas where you pick stuff up realy sucks. great game but I like the genesis one better.
