DYNAMITE ANNOUNCES VARIANT COVER EDITIONS FOR SOLD OUT TITLES
Red Sonja #18 and New Battlestar #5 Remain Available!
January 24 2007, Runnemede, NJ – DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT announced today that the initial print runs for both the Red Sonja #18 and New Battlestar Galactica #5 ongoing comic book series have sold out from Diamond Comic Distributors, and that limited edition variant covers for both titles will be available to fill standing orders. This move continues Dynamite’s commitment to keeping in-demand comics available to retailers and fans. The variant cover for Red Sonja #18 features a piece of brand new art by Jim Balent, and the limited edition cover for New Battlestar Galactica #5 features a variant “color-fade-to-sketch” edition by Jonathan Lau.
Dynamite created these limited edition variants in anticipation of selling out, and as part of a continuing program, fans should check with their local retailer for availability and retailers should check with their Diamond Customer Service Representatives to place an order.
Featuring the much anticipated conclusion to the world-shattering Return of Kulan Gath story arc, Red Sonja #18 sold out prior to shipping. With SCI FI’s new Battlestar Galactica continuing to excite fans new and old (HOW ABOUT Sunday night’s episode? WOW!) Dynamite’s New Battlestar Galactica #5 also sold out prior to shipping. The limited edition variant cover for New Battlestar Galactica #5 is a variation on the Jonathan Lau cover with an amazing effect that fades the art from color to sketch.
