"Star Wars" provides an action-packed issue this time out. The comic doesn't pretend to be anything other than that. There is limited character development, small plot movements and none of that matters. If you like action and big thrills then this is a fantastic issue. This is among my favorite issues since the rebooting of the Star Wars line.

Luke is entering the area of the Jedi artifact collector, Grakkus the Hutt. The idea is that the crowd will watch the last of the Jedi perish at the hands (or claws) of a monster. These scenes are great because not only is there action, but Grakkus and his game-master fill the reader in on the workings of the monster and the general set-up. There are a surprise or two as well.

Chewie and C3-PO get ambushed on their way to rescue Luke by the bounty hunter, Dengar. These scenes are equally as great. Chewie and Dengar face off in a brawl, but one where Dengar isn't afraid to use some gadgets to even out the strength difference. 3-PO also gets involved, which only enhanced these scenes.

Han Solo pleads his case to Princess Leia about how he really isn't married to Sana Solo. This scene is a small one but Solo is convincing in his explanation as it shows he clearly has feelings for Leia but is hesitant to reveal that level of his emotions. The explanation for the Sana marriage is a letdown from the several issue build-up however.

Brandon Borzelli's Geek Goggle ReviewsThe artwork is very good. There are definitely some amazing panels with the heavy action. However, overall the book has a dark look to it that really detracts from the details. Some of the backgrounds and panels simply look half-finished, but the colors were added anyway. Generally, the action is depicted well and that's the important thing to capture in an issue such as this one.

"Star Wars" is a fun read. This issue has wall-to-wall action and it makes the comic book a great read. This comic doesn't have a big reveal or any deep plot development or characterizations and it doesn't make a bit of difference because the book is great anyway. When you think of what makes Star Wars great, its the creativity and the action and this comic has both of them. This is one of the best issues in the run so far. I highly recommend checking this comic out.
