Media Release -- New York state based publisher Anthony Cacioppo explores a tense meeting between Cacioppo's Indestructible Man and Christmas' Saint Nick in Indie Comics Magazine #4, a special holiday issue, scheduled for preorder in Diamond Comic Distributors' October 2011 Previews catalog and available ONLY through Previews, announced Publisher Gary Scott Beatty.
Cacioppo's Kaso Comics has featured The Indestructible Man, the character made famous on the silver screen by Lon Chaney Jr., in its comic books since it debuted at New York City comic book conventions in 1997.
"Santa may be a jolly old elf, but he and Butcher Benton get off on the wrong foot right away," said Beatty. "Wherever The Indestructible Man goes mayhem follows and this done-in-one story is no exception."
Kaso has released archaeological adventure The Risen and the Dead, suspense tale Twisted, the Action Anatomy artist sourcebook, posters, CDs, apparel and even Strathmore comic book layout pages and storyboard templates. Kaso art books include Heroic Fantasy: Paintings by Marcus Boas and the artist collection Pulp SF Pinups. New character Matt Burton-Agent Zero takes the Kaso universe to the world of espionage.
Each issue of Indie Comics Magazine features full stories from many indie comic book creators, said Beatty. Short biographies and contact information are included so readers can easily seek out more of the creators' work. Kaso products can be purchased at KasoComics.com.
Also scheduled for the Indie Comics Magazine Christmas Issue are Ignatz Award winner Rich Koslowski's The 3 Geeks, Adventures of Aaron cartoonist Aaron Warner's A College Girl Named Joe and Mad magazine's Douglas Paszkiewicz with Arsenic Lullaby.
Indie Comics Magazine is 64 pages of the best story and art from today's independent comic book creators. No huge overprint, no digital version, no back issue sales, October's Previews under Aazurn Publishing is the ONLY way comic readers can get Indie Comics Magazine #4, the Christmas issue!
