A Bug's Life Vinyl Banner

Pixar's second feature-length film took us away from the world of toys and into the world of bugs! 1998's A Bug's Life is a personal favorite of mine - I watch this movie once a year around Thanksgiving (when it originally came out). The movie also famously ignited the initial flames of war between Pixar and Dreamworks. Dreamworks Antz was announced after A Bug's Life had gained traction, and the two films share a lot of similarities. When it comes down to it A Bug's Life is a more entertaining movie that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Unfortunately, A Bug's Life (and many other Pixar films) lives in the shadow of the behemoth known as Toy Story.

This vinyl banner is unrestored and noted as being in Very Fine+ condition. The banner features our protagonist Flick, and antagonist Hopper. This vinyl is bright and colorful, and would be a wonderful addition to any Disney or Pixar collection!

Cars Poster

One common theme I enjoy about Pixar is the way they'll show you what life is like for many things you mat not otherwise think about - toys, bugs, and automobiles. Released in 2006, Cars was not well received on its initial release, but thanks to the marketing machine that is Disney Cars is one of the more prominent Pixar franchises. The first movie is charming and fun with a great voice cast and incredible animation. In 2023 a fourth Cars movie was rumored, though no official confirmation has been made from Disney. The series inspired the short-lived Disneytoon Studios films Planes and Planes: Fire & Rescue, though both movies were not received well by critics or audiences.

This Cars poster is unrestored and in Fine/Near Mint condition. I love how cheeky it is. We have Lightning McQueen peeking out ever so slightly from his cover, with a devilish grin. The character himself is summed up well in this bright and vibrant poster. If you're a Disney fan, or even an automotive fan, this would be a great piece for your collection.

The Jungle Book Linen

The Jungle Book is, at its core, a movie that took inspiration from the Mowgli stories by Rudyard Kipling. It's also the last movie Walt Disney worked on. Disney bought the rights to all of Kipling's books, and had intended for the movie to follow those stories more closely. Story artist Bill Peet had made the movie much darker than Disney likely intended, and due to the poor box office sales of The Sword in the Stone (among others), Disney himself became closely involved with the production of the film.

The drama surrounding this film is great, but one major blow would cause the entire studio to a grinding halt. In December 1966 Walt Disney passed away. In October of 1987 The Jungle Book premiered, resulting in impressive box office numbers for the studio. The Jungle Book would be re-released theatrically through the years before its first VHS release in 1991. Some characters were re-imagined for the Disney series TaleSpin, which aired on the popular Disney Afternoon block in the early 1990s.

This restored linen poster is noted as being in Very Fine condition. Despite the registration, this poster represents a significant piece of Disney History.
