66 Issues
Victor Moscoso was the most highly trained of the early psychedelic poster artists. He was teaching traditional stone lithography at the San Francisco Art Institute where he earned his MFA when he began to notice concert posters on the street. He then began to create psychedelic posters for The Family Dog. In 1967, he started his own poster company, Neon Rose, which was a successful endeavor that produced numerous classic posters. His artwork was the most technically proficient of his contemporaries, and he was the first to have his work shown at the Museum of Modern Art.
