About: Poster dimensions are 42.25" x 58". The Clash 1981 Large Bond Casino Concert Poster. Eventually playing 17 concerts at the Bond's International Casino in New York City, "the Only Band That Matters" was promoting their triple-LP Sandinista! at the time. Eight shows were originally planned, but demand was so strong for the band (along with fire marshal issues) that a whopping 17 shows happened. The band was already a well-received one in their native England, but by 1981, they were on the precipice of worldwide acclaim. These shows marked the turning point.
