Media Release -- With BRIGHTEST DAY set to make its debut in April in a special #0 issue, DC Comics announces that the first six issues of this epic series - issues #0 through 5 - will be fully returnable for qualifying Diamond retailers.
"As with many of our biggest events in recent years, we're helping retailers by offering the first six issues on a returnable basis," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP - Sales.
To qualify for full returnability on BRIGHTEST DAY #0, retailers must place final orders on this issue in quantities equal to or greater than their initial orders on BLACKEST NIGHT #7 (DEC090133).
Qualifying retailers will be required to return stripped covers from returnable issues of BRIGHTEST DAY and an affidavit of destruction to Diamond Comic Distributors at a date to be named later. Retailers will then be issued credit for each copy, minus 10% of the cover price.
This issue is solicited with a 1:50 Variant Edition. Please note that retailers making returns will be required to return copies of the Variant Edition in proportion to their returns on the Standard Edition. For example, a retailer must return 1 copy of the BRIGHTEST DAY #0 Variant Edition along with a return of 50 copies of BRIGHTEST DAY #0.
BRIGHTEST DAY #0 (FEB100116; variant edition: FEB100117) is a 56-page title solicited in the February Previews and is scheduled to arrive in stores on April 14 with a cover price of $3.99 US.
