Welcome back to this week's Weekly Auction Gem rundown! Each week, we'll look at Heritage's weekly Sunday - Tuesday comic auction, their weekly video game auction, and their weekly poster auction to see which items should be on your radar!

Action Comics #252 CGC Universal 8.0

Supergirl made her heroic debut in the pages of Action Comics #252 during the Silver Age of comics. This first appearance and origin is a key issue -- if not a grail for some collectors -- and has steadily climbed in both popularity and price. Supergirl herself has been the subject of television shows, major comic book events, and will be getting another movie in the near future.

With the character's latest appearance in The Flash movie, prices have cooled a little, but this is still a major key that should be on your list.

This CGC blue label 8.0 has Off-White pages and presents beautifully. The colors are bright and bold on this cover, with Supergirl excitedly flying out of her ship. The current fair market value for examples in this grade is $10,500, with prices momentarily trending down. This book will likely increase in value over the years, even with some soft spots.

The Oregon Trail for PC, Sealed Ungraded

As a kid in the 1990s I was obsessed with The Oregon Trail. If you also grew up in the 90s, you probably were as well. This PC game was impossibly engrossing and would keep you in your seat for hours. The graphics were basic, you would die of everything from a snake bite to dysentery, but if you made it to the West Coast you felt a great deal of pride.

This was the game to play at your local or school's library, and we're all the better for having it in our lives.

This ungraded copy is sealed and looks brand new. The corners have some wear, but this is overall as close to mint as you can possibly get. A similar, opened example sold for $34 on eBay in June 2023. This example could potentially go for more as it is sealed. If you're a collector, don't sleep on this copy of an iconic 90s game!

The Lion King One Sheet 1994

Walt Disney's 1994 masterpiece, The Lion King, is regarded as one of the best animated films of all time. Everything from the animation, to the voice acting, to the outstanding soundtrack is nothing short of perfect. Released during the height of the Disney Renaissance, The Lion King wasn't originally intended to be one of Disney's landmark films (at the time Disney had all their money on Pocahontas), but it roared its way to the top of the food chain. While the original 1994 version remains one of the top-grossing animated films, the CGI remake is currently the highest-grossing animated film of all time.

This poster for the original movie evokes a nostalgic, whimsical feeling with Simba roaring into the heavens above on Pride Rock. This poster is stunning, and while it does have signs of general wear, Heritage notes this poster as being in Very Fine condition.
