29 February 2008 (Berkeley, CA) - THE NIGHTLY NEWS' Jonathan Hickman will be releasing the first issue of his all new miniseries, PAX ROMANA, to coincide with its second issues, due in stores this coming Wednesday.
"I'm extremely proud of PAX ROMANA," said creator Jonathan Hickman. "It's enough of a departure from my first project, The NIGHTLY NEWS, that I had concerns about how it would be initially received. The fact that we printed more copies – the fact that we sold out of those copies – has been wonderful."
Last year Jonathan Hickman's second miniseries, PAX ROMANA, debuted to critical acclaim, hot on the heels of his debut, THE NIGHTLY NEWS. While PAX ROMANA has a very different approach than its predecessor, a sold out print run and subsequent praise once again solidified Hickman as a creator to watch out for.
