The Picture of Everything Else #1 / Vault Comics

From the minds of Dan Watters (Coffin Bound, Lucifer, Deep Roots) and Kishore Mohan comes a haunting balance of

depravity and beauty. According to Previews World, a slew of killings are taking place in Paris, killings that no one knows how they are being committed. Art thieves then stumble upon the portraits of the victims showing exactly how they died. It appears that the artist who drew the portrait of Dorian Gray is back and has dark plans for the future of Paris and possibly the world.

The Picture of Everything Else #1 sounds like it would be a great read, especially because it’s new and fresh. I love giving new books a chance because you never know what the future has in store for them. I could also see this becoming an amazing horror flick.

Blade Runner 2029 / Titan Comics

You can never go wrong with Blade Runner, especially since this issue starts a new story arc. Here we follow the story of Blade Runner Ash in the year 2029 as she hunts renegade Replicants in order to protect them not destroy them. If you are a fan of the film or the comics, this is a great jumping-on point. It is a brand new arc with an awesome hunter. It might not make a big splash when it hits the shelves, but I think Blade Runner 2029  #1 will make for a great read. Plus Momoko made a gorgeous cover for it!

Catwoman #28 / DC Comics

It looks like Selina Kyle has taken a page out of Batman’s handbook. After taking down the mob and gaining control of Alleytown, Selina has decided to recruit a bunch of strays to be her sidekicks. This issue is the first cover appearance of her group, The Strays. Granted, I can’t see The Strays being a big hit, but it is still cool to see Selina step into her own finally. Let’s see how they do!

Ice Cream Man #22 Variant / Image Comics

Ok so not only is this a hot series, but the cover for this issue looks simply amazing! The cover art is done by John Giang and is a store exclusive. This means you better rise and shine before everyone else and rush to your LCS or call them ahead of time to claim it. Ice Cream Man was going to have an on-going series on Quibi, but since Quibi flopped; its fate is up in the air.

Spawn #313 / and Variant (Capullo, Black and White) / Image Comics

This is the first cover appearance of Plague Spawn. With its own version of a pandemic virus wreaking havoc, we have Plague Spawn who might be linked to it. Besides the great job being done by Todd McFarlane, these covers are spectacular, especially the Black and White cover by Capullo. Plague Spawn seems like he will fit right in with everything going on.

King-Size Conan #1 / Marvel

Celebrate Conan’s 50th year in comic books with this anthology of stories. Various writers have joined together to create this 60-page one-shot. It even showcases Kevin Eastman’s first time writing and illustrating for Marvel! Personally, I am not a Conan fan, but this book does call my attention. Let’s see how it turns out!

Well, those are some of the books I think are worth snatching up in the upcoming weeks. Are any already on your pull list? If not, are you going to add any of them? Let me know below!

Till Next Time, Happy Hunting!
