Media Release -- Archie Comics' fan favorite monthly magazine starring Archie married to both Betty and Veronica, LIFE WITH ARCHIE, has been voted among 2010's "Hottest Magazine Launches of the Year"!
Part of the "Most Intriguing" awards produced by min, which reports on the "magazine and media community with unparalleled coverage." LIFE WITH ARCHIE's nomination for "Hottest Magazine Launch of the Year" places Archie Comics' publication as one of the top 15 magazines to premier between October 2009 and September 2010.
"With all the spectacular feedback that LIFE WITH ARCHIE has received it is a great honor to know that the magazine is also being honored by those who know the industry best," stated Jon Goldwater, Co-CEO of Archie Comics.
The lead judge for the awards Samir Husni (a.k.a. "Mr. Magazine") is the director of the Magazine Innovation Center at the University of Mississippi, School of Journalism.
Archie Comics continues to push the magazine to new heights and has recently announced that due to LIFE WITH ARCHIE's popularity and success a brand new third story line will be added next year. In early 2011 LIFE WITH ARCHIE #7: MAR 2011 will feature the first appearance of JINX written by multiple-award-winning author J. Torres.
Also announced recently, Archie Comics will be launching a second bi-monthly magazine titled VERONICA & BETTY. Fans will delight with six issues a year starring Betty and Veronica, Riverdale's trendiest girls, taking the world by storm in a brand new storyline for their brand new magazine!
On December 9, 2010 min will announce the winner for 2010's absolute "Hottest Magazine Launch of the Year" at an award ceremony in New York City.
LIFE WITH ARCHIE #7: MAR 2010 will be available in comic shops January 26, 2011 and everywhere else magazines are sold February 8, 2011.
The VERONICA & BETTY magazine will arrive in MAY 2011.
