Broken Frontier Awards 2010Media Release -- Broken Frontier proudly unveils the nominees for its seventh annual Broken Frontier Awards. The Broken Frontier staff went through piles of comics and graphic novels and carefully selected five nominees for each of its nine award categories: Best Writer – Mainstream, Best Writer – Independent, Best Artist – Mainstream, Best Artist – Independent, Best Ongoing Series, Best Limited Series, Best Debut Book, Best Graphic Novel and Best Publisher.

Now that we’ve put together the ballot, it’s up to you to help determine the award winners. Voting is completely anonymous and is open to fans, creators and industry professionals until Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 11:59 pm ET.

The total amount of votes from the comics community will account for 50% of the final tally, while the votes of the Broken Frontier staff will account for the other 50%. The winners will be announced on December 28, 2010 with a spotlight on each of the winners on the same day in The Frontiersman #17, the upcoming issue of our digital comics magazine.
