Valentine's Day is almost here, and if you're like me you don't care for the traditional candy or flowers. I'm a collector, and in some sense, an investor. But my love of comics, video games, and even toys trump all, and there's nothing as great as getting a gift that I will truly appreciate. If you have a collector in your life that you want to woo this Valentine's Day (even if that collector is you), here are my top pics for this lovely holiday.

Dragon Ball Super Dragon Stars Super Saiyan Vegeta

Vegeta is, without question, the best character in the Dragon Ball franchise. He's an arrogant, jerkish Prince, but he's also a devoted husband and father. Vegeta's character development is one of my favorites. Bandai's Dragon Ball toy line is also high quality at an affordable price.

This figure of Super Saiyan Vegeta shows the Namek in a powerful light and is super articulate. You could easily create your own Dragon Ball scenes in your living room with this line is figures! This figure has an MSRP of $26.99, making this a very affordable and collectible gift.

Funko POP! Star Wars: Valentine's Day Grogu

Everyone's favorite father and special child are making their return to Disney + on March 1 of this year. Grogu, the child in question, took the pop culture world by storm with his unnecessary cuteness. As a result, Grogu has been a marketing machine, with Disney capitalizing on how much fans across the galaxy seem to love him.

This pink-hued Grogu will melt the heart of any Mandolorian in your life. Funko Pop figures are some of the most popular and affordable collectibles out there, making this a no-brainer.

Batman and Catwoman Diorama from Sideshow Collectibles

Batman and Catwoman might not be couples goals for everyone, but there is no denying their decades-long romance has hit a chord with most of us. This diorama was designed by Ian MacDonald, sculpted by Maria Panfilova, and painted by Chie Izuma, and depicts Batman trying his best to not be seduced by the beautiful Catwoman.

Sideshow Collectibles are expensive but worth the price tag and are perfect for the more refined romantic and collector. This is also a pre-order with delivery expected between May and August of this year.

LEGO Wildflower Bouquet

If you are going the more traditional route this Valentine's Day, why not get that special someone flowers that will last forever? LEGO is perfect for collectors of all ages, and once a LEGO set is out of production, it could potentially become valuable. This wildflower bouquet is ideal for older builders, and just like your love, they won't die (hopefully).

LEGO has a ton of other great Valentine's Options featuring popular heroes from DC, Marvel, and the ever-expanding Disney empire.

Bowser Build-A-Bear

Stuffed animals may seem cliche, but not when it's Bowser from the Mario series! Bowser is a true romantic at heart. He's been pining after and kidnapping Princess Peach for decades, and even when he is continuously defeated by Mario time and time again, he still pines for the Princess. While I would not suggest taking a play from Bowser's book, he is still a great villain, and Mario toys have the potential to be valuable in the long run.
