The monthly Top 10 CGC Submissions is a curated list of comics (and magazines) that have been submitted the most often to CGC during any given month. CGCData.com pulls the data straight from CGC over the past 30 days.

For the month of June 2025, we see several newcomers to the Top 10! Often dominated by Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee and Venom-related Copper Age key issues, last month collectors sent droves of comics recently published in 2025 to CGC, including the second printing of Deadpool/Wolverine #1 which took the top spot last month. We're also likely witnessing the impact of James Gunn's new Superman film on the Top 10.

Without further ado, here are the Top 10 CGC submissions during the month of June:

1. Deadpool/Wolverine #1 Second Printing (Marvel, 2025);

2. Superman Unlimited #1 Big Time Collectibles Foil Edition (DC, 2025);

3. Summer of Superman Special #1 Variant Cover (DC, 2025);

4. Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #8 (Marvel, 1984);

5. X-Men #1 Special Collectors Edition (Marvel, 1991);

6. Marvel Rivals #1 (Marvel, 2025);

7. Wolverine Limited Series #1 (Marvel, 1982);

8. Amazing Spider-Man #300 (Marvel, 1988);

9. Uncanny X-Men #266 (Marvel, 1990); and

10. Star Wars: Ahsoka #5 Okazaki Variant Cover (Marvel, 2025).

Once king of the hill, Absolute Batman #1 fell to No. 63.

It's actually important to talk about a comic that was NOT in the Top 10 last month: Absolute Batman #1. In terms of submissions to CGC, this book had been on an absolute tear for eight straight months including taking the No. 1 spot several times. Last month was the first time this issue fell out of the Top 10 since the book was published back in December 2024.

It cooled off significantly in June with Cover A falling -- shockingly -- all the way to No. 63. Still, collectors have already submitted over 4,000 copies of Absolute Batman #1 (including variants and reprints) to CGC; that's a lot of graded copies for a book published eight months ago. It seems like the market has reached its saturation point.

This is the summer of Superman (and Supergirl).

Likely being driven by the hype surrounding James Gunn's new Superman film, collectors submitted nearly 600 copies of two Superman-related books in June: Superman Unlimited #1 Big Time Collectibles Foil Edition and Summer of Superman Special #1 Variant Cover. Although one of the most recognizable characters, we almost never see Superman-related comics in the Top 10, so it's refreshing to see two of them in the Top 5.

Collectors may also be excited for the DCU's upcoming Supergirl film which is scheduled to drop in theaters on June 26, 2026 since they submitted nearly 300 copies of this variant of Summer of Superman #1 that features Kara Zor-El (drawn by Alexander Lozano) on its cover:

This book also appeared for the first time on GoCollect's Hottest Comics for the first time this month, taking the No. 7 spot for highest sales volume on eBay for Modern Age comics:

A CGC 9.8 copy sold back in May for $120, but today the FMV of a 9.8 is $70 according to GoCollect.
