Daken's first appearance caught the eye of many eBay buyers, sending Wolverine Origins #10 flying up the sales charts.

Wolverine and the X-Men were trendy once again. Why wouldn't they be? Deadpool & Wolverine is only weeks away from its premiere, and fans are highly anticipating the second season of X-Men '97. That's not to mention the hype for the MCU's full X-Men team, which could possibly be introduced in D&W.

Let's explore the Hottest Comics rankings to see what else is climbing the sales ladder.

19. WOLVERINE ORIGINS #10 (NEW TO THE LIST)

It was only a matter of time before the Wolverine hype spilled over to the Logan family. In this particular comic, readers met Wolverine's most famous son, Daken. He would go on to become Dark Wolverine with the Dark Avengers during the Dark Reign crossover event (that's a lot of darkness). Could we see him in Deadpool & Wolverine or X-Men '97? That is a possibility, and it could very well come to pass, which is a great reason to own Origins #10.

27. DOOM #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

The doctor is in...his own comic. While not the first self-titled Doctor Doom comic, his latest solo adventure is getting plenty of love on eBay. This time around, he's actually attempting to be somewhat heroic in his quest to stop Galactus from destroying the Marvel-616 universe. There's also a tribute to rapper MF Doom, who borrowed some of his look from Doctor Doom.

53. BLOOD HUNT #1 RED BAND EDITION #1 YU BLOODY HOMAGE VARIANT (+35)

Blood Hunt has been a hit for Marvel, particularly the Red Band editions. What's so special about these particular comics? If you follow movie trailers, Red Band is basically an R-rated movie preview, and the Red Band editions of Blood Hunt are similar in that regard. These have additional pages that were not included in the regular editions, so there's that incentive, too. This particular cover art is a tribute to one of the most famous horror covers ever created, Crime SuspsenStories #22.

73. ALPHA FLIGHT #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

With so much X-Men chatter across the internet, it's no wonder that collectors and investors have turned their attention toward Alpha Flight #1. Despite not being the team's first appearance, it is a significant key in their history, given this is their first self-titled comic. If we meet a version of Canada's superteam in X-Men '97 or possibly an MCU flick, this issue will get hot in a hurry.

84. THE WALKING DEAD #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

TWD has made a triumphant return to the eBay bestsellers. When The Walking Dead was the hottest television on the airwaves, this was one of the biggest key issues on the secondary market. As the show's popularity waned, so did TWD #1's investment appeal. Although the main TWD show has come to an end, there are spinoffs galore, and that is likely propelling the title's first issue back into the spotlight.
