What do Power Girl, Captain America, and the Predator have in common? Their key issues are trending on eBay.

When Marvel Studios drops trailers, the secondary market responds. Between What If...? and Sam Wilson's silver screen debut as Captain America, buyers had incentive to climb aboard the latest band wagon. Although Marvel continued to dominate the Hottest Comics, DC and Dark Horse had some keys heating up as well.

Come along as we explore the depths of the eBay sales rankings and spotlight these issues that you might have missed.

55. ALL-STAR COMICS #58 (+36)

What is this like this doing on the Hottest Comics, much less gaining nearly 40 spots in the 10-day rankings? All-Star Comics #58 marked the debut of Earth-2's Power Girl. Why would her first appearance suddenly catapult up the eBay sales charts? It could be tied to the upcoming Super Family movies, which would give Power Girl two potential landing spots between 2025's Superman and 2026's Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. While adding any Kryptonian to a Superman flick would make sense, the more obvious choice would be Supergirl, given that Power Girl is more or less a Supergirl variant.

86. TRUTH: RED, WHITE, AND BLACK #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

There's been more Cap 4 market impact. After the initial Captain America: Brave New World trailer, buyers lost their minds for Red Hulk's debut. Since the latest footage hit the internet, it's not only kept Hulk #1 moving up the ladder, but now Truth: Red, White, and Black #1 has garnered much more interest. The issue is notable for Captain America Isaiah Bradley's first appearance, a character who hit the mainstream after The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. In the latest trailer, we see that Bradley will return for the upcoming movie, and that's made Truth #1 quite popular.

93. X-MEN ANNUAL #9 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Those trailers keep comic book collectors and investors on their toes, and there's been plenty of footage to keep them busy lately. Marvel Studios recently dropped the first trailer for What If...? season three. As expected, it had cameos galore, which sent buyers straight to the comfy confines of eBay. Arguably the most talked about appearance in that trailer belongs to Storm. Being What If...?, this isn't the standard Ororo Monroe from the comics. This Storm is wielding her own version of Mjolnir, and that has caused a bump for X-Men Annual #9. There on the cover, we see Storm in full Thor regalia. Of course, she's actually using Stormcaster, her very own magic hammer created by Loki. Whether or not that detail will find its way into the show remains to be seen.

57. PREDATOR #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

After the massive success of Prey, it was only natural for the studio to greenlight the next Predator flick, and next year, Disney will give fans another standalone, Badlands. Even better, it will have basically the same creative team as Prey, so fans can expect another quality story. Before that hit revitalized the franchise, Predator was seemingly on its last leg after the dreadful AVP and The Predator films. It doesn't hurt that Marvel Comics had a major hit with its Wolverine/Predator crossover, something that only further solidifies the alien hunter back in the modern pop culture zeitgeist. That explains why Predator #1, the franchise's first comic, has been so hot as of late.

49. DAREDEVIL #131 (NEW TO THE LIST)

What do we have here? Bullseye's first appearance has returned to the Hottest Comics. Actually, it's been making several appearances as of late, which has dropped it firmly into the Hottest Comics of the past 30 days. DD #131 could be on the move thanks to Daredevil: Born Again. While there has been no official word, the classic villain could return after we last saw the character in season three of Netflix's Daredevil. Since the Disney Plus series is reportedly following closely in its predecessor's footsteps, that could very well lead to Bullseye coming back to live-action.

93. MARVEL PREMIERE #28 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Once again, a Morbius key has defied the odds and is climbing the rankings. After the horrible reception for Sony's Morbius movie, practically all his key issues plummeted down the sales charts. In recent weeks, those issues have been on the rebound, and here we have yet another entry. Then again, Marvel Premiere #28 isn't solely a Morbius key. Rather, it's the debut of the Legion of Monsters, a group that included Morbius, Man-Thing, Werewolf By Night, and Ghost Rider. Since all four are linked to the MCU, it's not a far-fetched idea to think they will be teamed together in the future, hence MP #28's move up the rankings.
