It's out with the old and in with the new as buyers switch gears from Agatha All Along to Wonder Man in this week's Trending Comics.
EBay was rocking with those Wonder Man keys as two of his major moments were back in the 10-day Hottest Comics. Keep digging, and you'll find that Swamp Thing was making his way up the rankings as well. Let's take a closer look at these and other notable appearances among the 100 bestselling comics on the most famous of auction sites, eBay.

30. WONDER MAN #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)
Even in a year with fewer MCU blockbusters and streaming series since the advent of Disney Plus, there's still plenty of Marvel content on the market. As soon as one movie or show reaches its finale, audiences are looking to the future. With Agatha All Along's initial season coming to a close, it puts eyes on Wonder Man.
Days ago, Marvel Studios released the first look at Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man. The show is set to debut next year, and this week's Hottest Comics saw collectors and investors targeting the character's key issues. Instead of the usual first appearance and first solo comic, buyers were on the hunt for Wonder Man's debut ongoing series. As prices rise for the aforementioned issues, this one remains relatively cheap, which is a good reason for it to rank a respectable 30th.
57. AVENGERS #9 (NEW TO THE LIST)
On the topic of Wonder Man, Simon's first appearance in 1964's Avengers #9 was gaining momentum over the past 10 days. When the show was announced two years ago, buyers elevated this issue toward the top of the Hottest Comics. Since the release date had yet to be announced, Avengers #9 didn't stick around for too long. Now that we've got our first look at the live-action Wonder Man, it's created a new rush to eBay for that first appearance. When we get closer to the show's Disney Plus release, this comic should crack the top 20 at least.

80. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #4 (NEW TO THE LIST)
When the live-action Silk show was officially canceled, it seemingly spelled the end for the Cindy Moon speculation. The project had been in Development Hell for years prior, but then Sony and Amazon surprised the comic book community with the big announcement that, indeed, Silk was still on the agenda. Not terribly long afterwards, the rug was pulled out from under Cindy's fans, and the project was axed.
With no show on the horizon, why would buyers suddenly have an interest in Silk's first appearance? For one, she will be part of the third Spider-Man PlayStation game, a franchise that has directly impacted the secondary market with each of its first two games. There's also the animated Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man on Disney Plus, where we could see Cindy transform into Silk. Don't forget that she has made cameo appearances in the MCU Spider-Man movies. With a fourth Spidey flick on the way, she could be on the agenda to don her superhero costume. Sure, there may not be a show coming, but these are all viable options.
98. HOUSE OF SECRETS #92 (NEW TO THE LIST)
It wasn't all about those Marvel keys. Coming in at 98th on the Hottest Comics, we have Swamp Thing's first appearance. This is a holy grail for many collectors, especially fans of classic horror from legendary artist Bernie Wrightson. What should have fans excited is the prospect of the Swamp Thing feature film on the horizon. It was part of James Gunn's initial DCU: Chapter One reveal, and the movie will likely be more of a horror movie than anything we've seen from the MCU, and that could be exactly what DC Studios needs to set itself apart from Marvel's superhero cinema dominance.

73. FANTASTIC FOUR #94 (NEW TO THE LIST)
Agatha All Along's big finale has been the talk of the MCU fandom. Death's reveal has sparked numerous theories across the internet with many fans wondering if the events of Agatha will see the return of Thanos. In any event, the show's popularity will likely keep Agatha Harkness around the MCU for some time to come. That is a good reason to invest in FF #94, a comic famous for the character's debut. Another reason you may want a copy could tie into the Fantastic Four movie franchise. In those pages, readers saw the first use of the name Franklin Richards, the omega-level mutant son of Reed and Sue Richards.
97. X-MEN #12 (NEW TO THE LIST)
Finishing up this round of Trending Comics is an old favorite. We saw the X-Men: Last Stand Juggernaut, played by Vinnie Jones, don the magic helmet for Deadpool & Wolverine. That is likely the last time we will see his version of the character, but the CGI, comic-accurate Juggernaut from Deadpool 2 could still make a return. There's also season two of X-Men '97, and that show was so popular earlier this year that it affected the secondary market with each episode. Reintroducing the Unstoppable One to the animated universe would be a popular choice and have an immediate impact on X-Men #12's market appeal.
