Welcome back to this week's look at Heritage's Sunday night movie poster auction! Every week Heritage auctions off some truly unique finds across all movie genres, such as movie serials, animation, science fiction, romance, and more. Each week I find a few gems that could be overlooked! Here are my pics for this week's unique finds!

Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)

In 1992 Francis Ford Coppola brought Bram Stoker's Dracula to life. The at-times overly dramatic movie introduced a new generation to the gothic world of Dracula and may have even helped make gothic fashion more mainstream. This version also made the monster into an antihero, hellbent on being with his re-incarnated lover once again. The acting at times was questionable at best, but Gary Oldman as Dracula worked extremely well. Why the long title for another movie about Dracula, though? Simple. Universal Studios owns the rights to Dracula, so Columbia had to call it Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Heritage notes that this poster is unrestored and in Very Fine + condition. It is a beautiful piece, with Gary Oldman and Winona Ryder front and center. The only use of color on the title is great - this is a visually pleasing poster, and would be a welcome addition to any collection!

The Curse of the Werewolf (1961)

If you ask me, Hammer horror films are a cut above the rest. Most of them hold up and can be enjoyed repeatedly, and while it wasn't shot in Technicolor, Eastman Color is beautiful and vivid in its own right. Eastman was cheaper to use making it appealing and accessible to smaller studios that didn't have large budgets. Unlike the other popular monster films Hammer produced, The Curse of the Werewolf wasn't a huge hit. As a result, it would be the only werewolf movie Hammer would create. This movie also steers clear of the traditional trope of being bitten by a werewolf in order to become one, and instead goes with an older legend that claims a child born on Christmas was to become a werewolf -- as punishment for being born on Christmas. Kind of crappy if you ask me.

This unrestored poster is noted as being in Fine/Very Fine condition and looks great. I love the old school feel of this poster. The mob with their torches, and the werewolf carrying a damsel in distress is peak horror. This is a poster that deserves to be celebrated in all of its glory.

Addams Family Values (1993)

The Addams Family was having a fun resurgence in the early 1990s. Originally created in 1938 as a cartoon strip by Charles Addams, the family would be adapted into television shows, movies, video games, stage shows, and more. The Addams Family is not only a Halloween staple but an overall iconic and influential piece of media. In the early 1990s - a few years after Charles Addams' death -- we saw two of arguably the most popular pieces of Addams Family media: The Addams Family movie, and the sequel, Addams Family Values. In recent years both of the movies and the original 1964 show have become popular on apps such as TikTok for showcasing a loving and dynamic family.

The Addams Family and Addams Family Values are two of my favorite comic-inspired movies, thanks in part to Raul Julia and Anjelica Huston, whose chemistry is off the charts. The sequel also introduced us to the character Debbie, played by Joan Cusack. Debbie's nefarious schemes to get the Addam's money via marrying the lovable oaf Uncle Fester is comical, and yet an absolute delight to watch. If you haven't seen either film in a while, you're due for a re-watch!

This unrestored poster is noted as being in Very Fine - condition and is such a great piece of Addams Family memorabilia. The creepy and kooky family is front and center, eagerly awaiting to be a part of your collection.
