Collectors Comics Spring Featured Auction is their biggest auction ever. Bidding ends Friday, August 18 through Sunday, August 20. Here’s a look at some of the incredible comics available in their latest auction.

Signature Series and Sketch Covers

Once again, Collectors Comics has a wide range of Signature Series comics and sketch covers up for bidding.

There are more than 200 Signature Series books, including a 9.8 graded New Mutants #98 signed by Rob Liefeld and Stan Lee, and a 2.0 CBCS graded Amazing Spider-Man #1 with verified signatures by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

One of the coolest sketch covers is Amazing Spider-Man #1 from 2014 with a wrap-around sketch on the front and back covers by Scott Hanna.

Other sketch highlights include an Amazing Spider-Man #648 with a Mike Grell sketch, an awesome-looking Amazing Spider-Man #789 with a Mark Bagley sketch colored by Scott Hanna, and a Dark Knight III: The Master Race #1 with a Frank Miller sketch.

Silver Age Keys

If you’re looking for Silver Age first issues and first appearances, this auction has a bunch. On the Marvel side, there’s a 1.0 graded Incredible Hulk #1, a 1.0 grade Fantastic Four #1, a 3.5 graded X-Men #1, a 4.5 graded Daredevil #1, and a 4.5 graded Strange Tales #110 – the first appearance of Doctor Strange.

From DC there’s a 6.0 graded Action Comics #252 – the first appearance of Supergirl – and a 2.0 graded Detective Comics #359 – the first appearance of the second Batgirl, Barbara Gordon.

Pre-Code Horror

There are a number of pre-code horror comics available in the auction as well. Highlights include a 4.5 graded Chamber of Chills #7, a 5.5 graded Crime SuspenStories #19, a 4.0 graded Eerie #13, a 6.0 graded Haunt of Fear #15, and a 6.0 graded Shock SuspenStories #9. There’s also a phenomenal-looking 9.2 graded Tales from the Crypt #32, the highest graded copy to be offered in an auction since 2019.

Other Highlights

Highlights from the Bronze Age include a 9.4 graded Incredible Hulk #181, a 9.4 Amazing Spider-Man #129, and a 6.0 Savage Tales #1 – the first appearance of the Man-Thing.

Among the Golden Age offerings include a 5.5 graded Atomic Comics #1, a 4.5 Detective Comics #75, and a 2.0 Planet Comics #35.

Copper Age highlights include two 9.8 graded copies of Marvel Super-Heroes Secret Wars #8 and a 9.8 Sandman #1.

New Features, No Fees, and a Giveaway

A new feature added for this auction gives bidders the opportunity to filter for different Ages, Genres, Grades, and more. As always with Collectors Comics auctions there are no fees for sellers or buyers, there are no buyer premiums, and there are no reserves.
