Dark Horse Comics is expanding its variant cover lineup with exciting new blank sketch variants, beginning with AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER-THE KYOSHI WARRIORS.

Media Release -- Dark Horse Comics introduces blank sketch variants to the variant cover program this May alongside the debut of two new comic series, Avatar: The Last Airbender—The Kyoshi Warriors and Young Hellboy: Thrilling Sky Adventures. Blank sketch covers will feature trade dressing with white space open for art by fans and professional artists alike.

Avatar: The Last Airbender—The Kyoshi Warriors #1 will be released on May 6, 2026 and Young Hellboy: Thrilling Sky Adventures #1 will be released on May 20, 2026. Both issues and their blank sketch covers are now available for preorder at yourlocal comic shops.
