South Park WATA 9.4 A+ Sealed

Trey Parker and Matt Stone's South Park has remained a cultural tour de force since first appearing on Comedy Central in 1997. Over 300 episodes, specials, and even a movie have been made thus far. While South Park is decidedly not for kids, that didn't stop my 7th-grade class from becoming completely engrossed in the series when it first aired. South Park has never held punches back, and while sometimes the humor is questionable, the series has remained relevant.

South Park got its own video game in the late 1990s. This multi console game was first released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998, and then for the Playstation 1 in 1999. South Park is a single or multiplayer first shooter, and if I can be honest, the graphics still hold up. Given the animation style of the series, it's no wonder the simplistic graphics work. This is a fun game and has become a collector's piece in recent years.

This WATA 9.4 A+ sealed game is great to look at. The last time a similarly graded game was sold was in 2022 for $109. This game could potentially go for a great price.

Snow White: Happily Ever After CGC Universal 8.0 Sealed

In the 1990s, video games were marketed to boys by and large. While I took no notice of this as a child, looking back, I can see who was truly targeted at the time- although I sometimes wonder if that marketing tactic was truly what some companies were going for. Nintendo challenged the notion that video games were not for girls by releasing The Little Mermaid, a number of Barbie games, and even Snow White: Happily Ever After for the Super Nintendo.

The movie, released internationally in 1989, is in no way related to or even made by Disney. As Snow White is a public domain story, her likeness can be used by any production company. Happily Ever After is a follow-up to what happens after the Prince saves Snow White with a kiss. The movie was released in the United States in 1993, which is why an SNES game followed in 1994. This single-player action game was a ton of fun to play. Plus, you get to play as Snow White, who can save herself in this game!

This CGC Universal 8.0 sealed copy is awesome. While there isn't any sales data on our site for a CGC copy of this game, I would expect it to end at a little over $100.

G.I. Joe Cobra Strike WATA 9.6 A++ Sealed

When you think of cartoons from the 1980s, G.I. Joe is likely thought of first. Originally introduced in 1964 as an action figure, the figure would evolve into one of the most well-known cartoon shows almost 20 years later. While the cartoon show was produced in order to sell toys - a common practice that still happens today - it was still a good show with solid animation and strong storytelling. In 1983, G.I. Joe got its first video game, Cobra Strike, for the Atari 2600.

The game could be played as a single or two player and had charming graphics given the time frame. While the controls may seem clunky by today's standards, it's still a good game for collectors. Even if the actual game bore little resemblance to the rest of the franchise. This WATA 9.6 A++ sealed copy is impressive. The box art is arguably the best thing about this game. The last time a copy of this game in a similar grade was sold was in 2024 for $279.
