Pokémon. PSA Comic Book Sales. The X-Men. Doom (the video game). Michael Jordan. These are a few of the topics that trended heavily amongst GoCollect readers during 2025.

2025 may be quickly disappearing in the rear-view mirror, but before we completely forget about 2025, let's take a look at which articles that YOU, our GoCollect community, viewed the most often last year. Here they are (in order of total number of views):

1. This Pokémon Card Sold for $213,500: 20,342 views

Perhaps not surprisingly, Pokémon dominated our viewers interest in 2025 with this June 2025 article about a Charizard card sale receiving more than 20,000 views. As we learned from eBay’s Collected: 2025 in Collecting Trends report, Pokémon is by far the most searched collectible on eBay's website. The particular Charizard card featured in this article is easily one of the most sought after Pokémon trading cards of all-time. It's arguably the most famous and well-known Pokémon card in the original 151 (even though the Pikachu Illustrator card is more rare and expensive).

2. Pokémon: Chartbusters April 2025: 18,771 views

With nearly 19,000 views, this Pokémon Chartbusters from April 2025 also drew a ton of interest from our readers. It certainly helped that the number one card on this list was the same Charizard card featured in the article above -- this time a PSA 9.0 Charizard (4/102) Base (1st Edition) card that sold for $24,851 on March 9th.

3. PSA Turns Heads with Red, and Turns Away from 9.9: 17,623 views

PSA entering the comic book grading market also generated a lot of interest from our audience during 2025. With many comic collectors interested in alternatives to CGC, PSA made waves when the grading card giant began accepting comic book submissions in July 2025. In this widely read article, Wymon Stanlick takes a deep dive into PSA's comic book label, slab design, and grading scale.

4. Top X-Men Character Keys to Grab for Your PC: 16,705 views

The only comic book characters to appear in the Top 10 most viewed articles of 2025, our readers clearly love reading about the X-Men. In this article, YouTuber IzzyVerseNYC takes a deep dive into over a dozen major X-Men-related key issues. With the X-Men finally set to join the MCU in Avengers: Doomsday, these keys may get a boost in 2026.

5. PSA Sales Are Here! How Do They Compare Against CGC?: 15,939 views

Shortly after PSA began accepting comic book submissions in July 2025, we began to see the first sales of PSA slabs on the secondary market in August. In this article, I took a closer look at several of these early sales and compared them to similarly situated CGC-graded slabs.

6. Silver Age CPI Winners & Losers - August 2025: 14,658 views

Many readers tuned in to read Doug Ohlandt's analysis of GoCollect's Silver Age CPI in August 2025. While he noted that the Index was down as a whole over the previous three months, there were several Silver Age key issues that were trending upwards. As Jim Cramer says, there's always a bull market somewhere -- you just need to know where to look.

7. All Killer – No Filler: Posters That Lit the Fuse: 14,570 views

While many readers were most interested in Pokémon and comic book-related articles, the last four articles on this list are actually about concert posters, video games, and magazines. With well over 14,000 views, Wymon's article about an Art of Rock auction about concert posters for the Velvet Underground and Jimi Hendrix was the most viewed concert poster article of 2025.

8. Knee-Deep in 90s Doom: 14,564 views

Written by Matthew Doherty, one of GoCollect's video game collectibles experts, this article about Doom, an early 1990s first-person shooter, drew over 14,000 views from our readers and was the most viewed video game article of 2026. Although Doom wasn't the first first-person shooter, it was the most important, spawning a legion of clones and a whole new genre of video games that continue today with games like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.

9. Hottest Magazines: Jordan Rules: 14,441 views

The most viewed article about magazines in 2025, Doug discusses how Michael Jordan still has a tight grip over the collectibles market 23 years after his final NBA game in 2003. In his analysis of the hottest magazines, he noted that a CGC 9.8 copy of Sports Illustrated #v61 #26 set a record when it sold for $2,123 in March 2025.

10. Are We In The Golden Age Of Classic JRPG Collecting?: 14,381 views

In another popular video game-related article, Matthew examined the value of Japanese role-playing games (JRPGs) on the secondary market. As an example, he took a close look at sales of Chrono Trigger, one of the best JRPGs of all time, and found that high-grade copies have sold for $40,000 or more.
