Shaq Fu CGC Universal 9.9 A++ Sealed
Sometimes the 1990s feel like a fever dream. Everything seemed limitless, technology was improving by the day, and the console wars engulfed gamers. It was neck and neck between Nintendo and Sega, with both going after each other in creative in clever ways. In the end, Nintendo won. Games during this period were nothing short of great, with many iconic and collectible titles coming out during this time period. But one game that perplexed me as a child - and as an adult - is Shaq Fu.
This multi-console game starred Shaquille O'Neal who is sent to another dimension to save a young boy. This 2D fighting game was met with mixed reviews, and in the years following that sentiment has grown more negative. A sequel was released in 2018, so there is at least a cult following for this game. If anything, Shaq Fu is a perfect embodiment of what the 1990s felt like.
This CGC Universal label 9.9 A++ sealed game is rather impressive. Per our data, this is one of the highest-graded copies out of every grading company. Where this game could end is anyone's guess, but this is a great game for every type of collector!
Mario Clash CGC Universal 9.9 NS
Here's a video game key that probably gets overlooked. Mario Clash for the short-lived Virtual Boy is the first stereoscopic Mario game, which utilized the Virtual Boys 3D mechanism. The game was received well, and while many may look back on the console (and its games) as headache-inducing, Mario Clash still gets a lot of positive praise. The Virtual Boy itself would quickly phase out of production after barely one year, and finding games and the console on the second-hand market is a bit of a challenge.
This CGC Universal 9.9 is not sealed, but also unopened. This is also the Japanese version, which can have an effect on price. Currently, we do not have prices for Japanese games on GoCollect, but if we are to compare this to the North American counterpart, this game could go for serious money.
Twisted Metal CGC Universal 9.2 CIB
If you enjoy getting your road rage out in video game form, Twisted Metal is the game for you. Many of my friends enjoyed this early PlayStation title, and it became a title all of us wanted to own. This auto-fighting game was rather popular on its debut, and as a result, started a media franchise. The last official game came out in 2012, and a live-action television adaptation streamed in 2023. This game has managed to stay relevant through the years and has become a solid series to collect. This long box version is hard to find -- some high-grade copies have sold for over $40,000!
This CGC Universal label 9.2 is not sealed, but it is complete in box. In the case of this game, grades don't matter. This is a collectible copy, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bidding war on it!
