1986 Fleer Sticker Kareem Abdul-Jabbar #1 PSA 10 GEM MINT
Outside of his rookie card, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's Fleer Sticker issue is one of his most desirable cards of all time. Not only does this card hail from arguably the most important basketball set ever produced, it's also one of just 11 cards featured in the Fleer Sticker sub-set.
It’s difficult to locate examples of this card in grades higher than Near Mint condition due to centering issues that often plagued cards from this Fleer release. PSA has assessed more than 3,300 examples of Kareem’s Sticker, but only 15 (0.45%) have earned this PSA Gem Mint 10 designation.
1996 Select Certified Mirror Gold Derek Jeter ROOKIE /30 #100 PSA 10 GEM MINT
Although Derek Jeter made his first mainstream baseball card appearances throughout 1993, his Mirror Gold parallel from the iconic 1996 Select Certified release remains one of his most coveted rookie issues to date.
With a limited print run of just 30 copies, Jeter’s Mirror Gold parallel had an average pull rate of one per every 2,160 boxes, making it one of Jeter’s scarcest early issues.
PSA graded this example a Gem Mint 10. Only one other example has earned this top grade.
1999 Upper Deck MVP Prosign Michael Jordan AUTO JSY # 23/23 #MJ SGC 8.5 NM-MT+
Following Michael Jordan’s retirement announcement in 1999, Upper Deck released a special Jordan-centric MVP set. The rarest and most sought-after card from this release was Jordan’s short-printed Prosign autographed insert limited to just 23 copies.
As one of Jordan’s earliest on-card autographed issues, this /23 insert has already earned its place as a chase card for Jordan collectors. However, the main highlight of this issue up for auction is the highly sought-after jersey-matched serial number 23/23.
This elusive card features a blue ink on-card autograph and handwritten serial number. SGC graded this example a Near Mint 8.5 with none graded higher.
2012-13 Panini Prizm Basketball Factory Sealed Hobby Case, 12ct Box
This 2012-2013 hobby box introduced collectors to Panini’s version of a chromium refractor: the Prizm. Once these Prizm parallels hit the market, they quickly became the gold standard of high-end basketball cards and have remained that way ever since.
Panini manufactured two Prizm parallels for this hobby release —Silver Prizms which fell an average of two per box and the highly coveted /10 Gold Prizms which fell at random.
This Panini release included a double rookie class totaling nearly 100 rookie issues headlined by Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard, Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving, Draymond Greed, Kemba Walker, and Klay Thompson.
This hobby case includes 12 boxes with each box containing 20 packs of six cards. Each box includes an average of two inserts, two autos, and two of the iconic Prizms.
