Mother's Day is here again, so we're taking today to celebrate all of the super moms (and women) in your life. If it wasn't for my mom I wouldn't have fallen headfirst into reading comic books. My mom was a school teacher, which meant she had summers off to take care of my sister and me when we were all out of school. As I grew up, my mom would help make my cosplays for Otakon, would take my sister and I to arcades during rainy summer days, and didn't mind seeing a superhero movie if there was one in theaters. While my nerdy interests might not have been her cup of tea, she never let me know one way or another. If the force is strong with your mom, and she loves being comfortable, this 10" Grogu Cuutopia plush is perfect. I have the large, pillow version of this Cuutopia plush, and use it for mid-day naps. Even my cats enjoy cuddling with it. These Cuutopia plush are cute, soft, and just plain fun. Eternal Sailor Moon and Eternal Sailor Chibi Moon Figure
Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon share a special bond through the Sailor Moon series. Chibi Moon, or Chibi Usa in civilian form, travels back in time to present-day Tokyo to steal back the Silver Crystal to save her mom - Neo Queen Serenity - in the future. Chibi Usa literally falls on to Usagi and Mamoru, pulls out a gun on Usagi, and demands the Silver Crystal. Usagi and Mamoru later on find out that Chibi Usa is their daughter from the very distant future, and they have to save her in order to save themselves. Sailor Moon is a wild series.
Of course, Chibi Usa and present-day Usagi act more like sisters than mother and daughter at first, but over time as Usagi matures she does develop a deep love for Chibi Usa. This figure features both in their Eternal soldier forms, sitting ontop of a pillar. This sweet figure is perfect for every anime-loving mom, especially if they love magical girl anime. Sailor Moon figures are highly collectible and can go for big bucks once a figure is discontinued.
Barbie Signature 65th Anniversary Doll
Last summer Barbie had us all in a pink chokehold thanks to the movie, but this year Barbie is celebrating her 65th Anniversary! The doll that would change the way kids play looks better than ever and is still as relevant today as she was 65 years ago. This doll pays homage to the original black and white swimsuit Barbie with a beautiful black and white gown. The pops of blue are a nod to the eyeshadow the first Barbie wore too! The original Barbie is one of the most coveted dolls on the market, with original dolls selling for hundreds (and sometimes thousands) of dollars.
