The monthly Top 10 CGC Submissions is a curated list of comics and magazines that have been moving up CGC's grading lists. CGCData.com pulls the data straight from CGC over the past 30 days.

For the month of July, there are many familiar faces (e.g., Wolverine Limited Series #1), and strong representation from the Rippaverse for the second straight month. Let's take a closer look at last month's CGC submissions.

Note: There is information regarding the Deadpool & Wolverine movie in this article that appears directly below a SPOILER ALERT.

Deadpool & Wolverine may have given a small boost to Wolverine and Gambit-related key issues.

While collectors submit key issues related to Wolverine and Gambit to CGC every month, it's quite possible that these comics may have received a small boost towards the end of the month due to the release of Deadpool & Wolverine in late July.

SPOILER WARNING FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T YET SEEN DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE DIRECTLY BELOW

The biggest Marvel release since 2019's Avengers: Endgame, Deadpool & Wolverine features a surprise appearance by Gambit (played by Channing Tatum) who helps the eponymous heroes fight Cassandra Nova. New Mutants #98, which includes the first appearance of Deadpool, wasn't too far behind at No. 12 for the month of July.

Over 1,250 copies of Yaira #1 were submitted to CGC in July.

Like in June, a huge number of copies of Yaira #1 (published by Rippaverse Comics) were submitted to CGC in July. Collectors submitted a whopping 1,260 copies of Yaira #1 (including three variant covers) during the month of July. Comics published by Rippaverse Comics also dominated the top 10 CGC submissions list in June, including four of the top five positions with Yaira #1 occupying positions 2 through 3 then. Over 1,000 copies of this issue were submitted to CGC in June for grading. If you've been looking for a copy of this issue, just be aware that a flood of graded copies are likely about to hit the market which will probably lower its value.

Even though comics published by the Rippaverse have had strong representation in the top 10 for two straight months, it's highly unlikely that it's the beginning of a trend. For example, RippaZine Collector's Edition #1 was the No. 1 most submitted comic to CGC in June; however, in July, Rippazine #1 wasn't even in the top 2344 in July! We'll see if Yaira #1 has any staying power next month.
