89. DEADPOOL: MERC WITH A MOUTH #7 (NEW TO THE LIST)
Who knows what we’ll see in Deadpool 3? As Deadpool and Wolverine journey across the MCU Multiverse, they will run into Loki’s TVA, and there are rumors of several cameos from the Fox X-Men movies. Since this is a Multiverse-centered plot, fans are expecting variants, which leads us to Merc with a Mouth #7.
This happens to be the first appearance of Lady Deadpool, a female version of Wade Wilson from a different timeline. The odds of audiences meeting her are strong, and that is causing an uptick in sales for her debut comic.
96. GARGOYLES #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)
Fans of 1990s cartoons have long sung the praises of Gargoyles. A show ahead of its time in many aspects, viewers were heartbroken when the series was cut short. Decades later, it seems Disney has heard those cries and will give the Gargoyles a reboot.
The latest gossip is that a live-action movie is coming with Shakespearean actor and Thor director Kenneth Branagh behind the camera. No doubt that is the culprit behind Gargoyles #1 making an appearance in this week’s Hottest Comics.
21. MARVEL SPOTLIGHT #32 (NEW TO THE LIST)
With all the excitement for Across the Spider-Verse, Beyond the Spider-Verse, and the confirmation of Miles Morales starring in his own live-action movie, it seems Spider-Woman has been lost in the shuffle. At the same time as the Miles news hit the wire, Sony also confirmed that a Spider-Woman movie was on the agenda.
Fans have been waiting on that news for years, but now they have even more incentive to add her first appearance to their collections.
51. X-MEN #12 (NEW TO THE LIST)
There’s more Deadpool 3 fallout to report. Not only is the Juggernaut unstoppable, but his first appearance isn’t slowing down, either. He was a huge hit with Deadpool 2 audiences, and fans would be ecstatic to see him return to CGI life for the third installment.
With so many nods and references expected for Deadpool 3, it’s not out of the question for Juggernaut to make a return if only for a cameo.
38. ALPHA FLIGHT #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)
There have been Alpha Flight rumors gestating for years, and they could come to fruition with (you guessed it) Deadpool 3. After all, the film stars Canada’s favorite two superheroes, why not add Canada's super team to the mix? Remember, as the story goes, Wolverine was supposed to lead Alpha Flight before he met up with the X-Men.
Ryan Reynolds could have a field day with that awkward meeting of Logan and the team he left at the altar. For that matter, Deadpool could upgrade from X-Force to Alpha Flight in the movie.
