Media Release -- The Cartoon Art Museum is having a Pre-Holiday Sale the week before Christmas, Sunday, December 16th through Sunday, December 23rd, from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Almost everything in the store will be 25 to 40% off (some restrictions apply).
The sale includes 25% off almost all merchandise in the store, including autographed books, graphic novels and trade paperbacks, manga, Klutz activity books, Magic Ink books, stationery, picture books, books on pop art, street art and graffiti, coloring books, hard-to-find publications by local artists, Cartoon Art Museum art kits, cartoon-themed notebooks and lunch boxes. Included in the lineup is the store's extensive selection of Edward Gorey books, including Ironic Tonic, Categoreys, Sopping Thursday, The Hapless Child, and The Blue Aspic.
Bookstore visitors will save 40% off board games, jigsaw puzzles, bobble heads, action figures, past exhibit catalogs and event books including The Wizard of Oz and Bloom County, contemporary comic strips including Pearls Before Swine and Lio, letters from Edward Gorey in Floating World and more.
