Media Release -- The Cartoon Art Museum hosts Superman: A 75th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 6:00-9:00pm. Special guests for this historic celebration include an all-star gathering of DC Comics talent, including Mike Carlin, supervising editor of the Man of Steel's adventures during the historic Death of Superman storyline; Eisner Award-winning inkers Al Gordon (Legion of Superheroes, Justice League) and Steve Leialoha (Fables, Sandman); Mick Gray, award-winning inker of one of DC's most popular current titles; Dan Brereton, painter of the critically acclaimed Legends of the World's Finest graphic novel; Norm Felchle (Action Comics, Legends of the Dark Knight), John Heebink (Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.), and other surprise guests to be announced.

At 8:00 PM, our special guests and Cartoon Art Museum curator Andrew Farago will conduct a tour of the exhibition, discussing the secret stories behind the artwork on display and sharing their own stories about Superman and his 75-year history.
