Back Issue #51Media Release -- On September 14, TwoMorrows Publishing is releasing BACK ISSUE #51, the acclaimed magazine on comics history of the 1970s and 1980s, and through today, edited by Michael Eury. This latest issue features the final interview with comics color artist Adrienne Roy, who passed away in December 2010. Ms. Roy is known for her color work on some of the key DC comics of the 1970s and '80s, and in this interview, she reflects on her personal and professional life during that era.

This "all interview" issue also features Part 2 of an exclusive discussion with writer STEVE ENGLEHART, begun in the pages of Alter Ego magazine #103 (released last month). There are also "Pro2Pro” interviews between WALTER SIMONSON and ERIK LARSEN, DOUG MOENCH and LEN WEIN, and comics letterers TODD KLEIN and JANICE CHIANG, plus an in-depth discussion with JOHN OSTRANDER. The issue's cover spotlights one of the last Batman illustrations produced by the late MARSHALL ROGERS, who was Steve Englehart’s partner on Detective Comics.
