Diamond's Top 25 Games for September 2012

Media Release -- The rage of the Incredible Hulk comes to the HeroClix campaign with the Marvel HeroClix: Incredible Hulk Booster Brick from WizKids/NECA, the best-selling Games product to comics specialty retailers in September.

WizKids/NECA took the top three spots on the chart, with the DC HeroClix 10th-Anniversary Expansion following at #2 and the Marvel HeroClix 10th-Anniversary Expasion at #3.

Other publishers in the top ten include Cryptozoic Entertainment (The Walking Dead TV Series Board Game at #5), Hasbro (Risk Legacy at #8), Konami Digital Entertainment (Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG: Return of the Duelist Booster Packs at #4), Margarent Weise Productions (Marvel Heroic RPG: Civil War Event Book Premium at #7), USAopoly (Street Fighter Monopoly at #6), and Wizards of the Coast (two products, led by Magic the Gathering TCG: 2013 Core Set Booster Packs at #9).

Data for Diamond's sales charts – which include the monthly market shares and all top product charts – are compiled by Diamond Comic Distributors from a universe of over 3,500 accounts, comprised of comic book specialty shops and other merchant stores and buyers. The shops are primarily located in North America, with a percentage of sales also to international stores and buyers located throughout the world. The account base includes not only brick-and-mortar comic book specialty shops, but also Internet stores, chain stores, and other specialty stores.

Unit and dollars sales are calculated based upon orders invoiced and shipped to Diamond accounts during any given month, which comprises initial pre-orders, advance reorders, and reorders, minus any copies that are received back from a title marked as returnable.
