Media Release -- Readers tired of corporate comics' constant reboots rejoice! Indie Comics #1 features six adventure tales that could end anywhere. The first issue of Indie Comics will be listed in June 2016's Previews catalog under Aazurn Publishing.

"I've found escape from constant corporate continuity reboots in the indie comic community," said Aazurn Publishing's Gary Scott Beatty. "The big two rehash slightly different versions of the same story and I find that boring. Readers who crave consistent creative teams and stories that could go, quite literally, anywhere, should give Indie Comics #1 a try."

The adventure begins when Rick Bonn asks "Why Did the Caveman Cross the Sea?" Bonn (Bonnfire Media) and artist Christopher Herndon follow a Bigfoot/Tarzan hybrid in a world of dinosaurs.

Brad Olrich's mercenaries attempt a raid on Rectory VII, "At Galaxy's Core." Olrich's (Commodore Dinosaur) thieves go to work retrieving a donation from The Church of Eternal Recurrence in this Dark Ages inspired sci fi.

Terry Cronin plunges three college students on spring break into an underground world of bloodsucking women. In "The Flame of Faith," Cronin (Students of the Unusual) and artist Ghostfire tell a new kind of vampire story with a mysterious tattoo, freak tumors and spring break in Florida!

Hans Christian Andersen meets H.P. Lovecraft when Gary Scott Beatty follows "The Maketch Girl" and elder gods into darkness. Beatty's (Number One) "The Little Match Girl" pastiche turns the child toward sunless, ancient worlds of eldritch horrors.

Michael R. Carr presents two aging adversaries converging for a final encounter in "Silence." Carr (A Dark Allie) and artist Brian Atkins explore honor and eternal rest in eight pages of swordplay!

Finally, diesel punk meets modern world in Paul Bradford's "The Night Errant!" Bradford (Astral Crusaders) and artist Randy Valiente bring us a character that has had enough of the corruption and crime throughout his city.

"With all of these talented people and genre adventures, we're specializing in bang for your buck," said Beatty. "An Aazurn subscription at your comic shop will not land you in the middle of a mega-series. Indie Comics #2 and #3 will be in Previews in August and October." Learn more at http://aazurn.com/
