Praise for PRINCESS PRINCESS EVER AFTER
"O'Neill delivers an alternative fairy tale that challenges conventions with every twist of the plot but doesn't veer into heavy-handed preachiness that pulls readers out of the story. [...] a royal winner." Kirkus Reviews
"The book feels as though it aims to reach young readers, giving them a cute story with happy young lesbians; yet some of the language and storytelling feels as though this is the kind of book that will land best with teenagers and older readers. The book does not shy away from addressing what is usually considered mature themes; the narrative directly takes on issues such as sexism and fatphobia." Lambda Literary
"O'Neill's delightful fairy tale will appeal to romance lovers, fantasy/adventure fans, and readers looking for LGBT-positive stories for young readers." Booklist
"This fairy tale will leave readers smiling and believing in true love. [...] An excellent addition to graphic novel collections. Hand to fans of nontraditional fairy tales, such as Ursula Vernon's Hamster Princess series or Jeremy Whitley's Princeless books." School Library Journal
"A delightful take on the traditional fantasy tropes, Princess Princess flips the script and never looks back. [...] The story of Sadie and Amira is a must read for fans of Revolutionary Girl Utena, Steven Universe, Princeless, or young readers looking for something outside the normal fantasy fare available." Diamond BookShelf
"Princess Princess Ever After is a wonderful story that's great for any comics readers among you, as well as a great gift for any young comics readers in your life of any gender." The Mary Sue
"Princess Princess Ever After is a brilliant all-ages comic [...]. It's delightfully cute and wonderfully fun. " Autostraddle
"There's so much good about this book… I don't know where to begin. [...] This book is absolutely incredible. There is no way to skirt around that. It's the kind of graphic novel that I very much wish I had as a kid. [...] It's lighthearted, funny and carries such a great message that you'll want to read it over and over again." Rogues Portal
"Simply put, Princess Princess Ever After is a children's book that every child should read. It's the LGBT children's book that has needed to be told for a very long time and it is imperative that it be seen by everyone." The Outhousers
"Princess Princess Ever After isn't just funny and charming, it's a timely story, and like any good fairy tale shows a world where happy endings are always possible, no matter who you are." Jeffrey Brown (Star Wars: Jedi Academy, Star Wars: Goodnight Darth Vader)
"This book is the kind of story I wish I'd had growing up; a fun, vibrant adventure that also happens to be an adorable love story between princesses." Kate Leth (Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat, Fresh Romance)
"Princess Princess Ever After is as bright, sweet and positive a fairy tale as you could hope to read, a big-hearted fable where the boxes we're expected to fit into are simply dragons to be slain." John Allison (Giant Days, Bad Machinery)
