Media Release -- The newly formed Blue Juice Comics is proud to present its inaugural comic book title, The Accelerators. Inspired by the grand tradition of science fiction adventures in comics and film, The Accelerators rethinks the time-travel genre by adding a new twist: in this world, time machines can only travel forward, never back. The story follows a group of reluctant time travelers who find themselves stranded in a future where time machines are commonplace and time travel itself has become a deadly game.
Blue Juice Comics, an offshoot of Blue Juice Films, has developed The Accelerators with an eye toward tomorrow, seeing the potential for its ongoing story in both comics and other media. The creative team includes screenwriter and creator R.F.I. Porto (Blue Caprice), artist Gavin Smith (Human City), colorist Tim Yates (Grimm Fairy Tales) and cover artist Walter Flanagan (Batman: The Widening Gyre).
Having just been accepted for distribution by Diamond, Issue #1 will be in the March PREVIEWS catalog and will hit shelves on May 22nd, 2013. Prepare yourselves for the future!
