The latest trailers put collectors and investors on notice, putting the Ahsoka and Blue Beetle keys in high demand this week.

The comic community fired up their YouTube accounts with some exciting new footage for long-awaited projects. Between Star Wars and DC, collectors had plenty of issues to track down as a result. By no means are these the only issues you should be watching, and here are a few newcomers to the Hottest Comics.

2. STAR WARS: HEIR TO THE EMPIRE #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Thrawn has arrived in the live-action galaxy far, far away, and it’s got his first appearance on the hot seat. Everyone’s favorite blue admiral was name-dropped in The Mandalorian season two, and it’s been a waiting game to see him in the flesh.

As the first trailer for Ahsoka has hit the internet, it’s Thrawn’s debut that has the collecting world buzzing. Inevitably, it has led a massive charge to Heir to the Empire #1, which should translate into a brief spike in fair market value.

7. INFINITE CRISIS #5 JIM LEE VARIANT (NEW TO THE LIST)

Speaking of trailer drops, Blue Beetle has left a crater in the secondary market. Naturally, the initial footage of Jaime Reyes sporting a comics-accurate costume has put many investors and collectors on the path to Infinite Crisis #5.

Although he debuted two issues prior, Jaime first sported the Blue Beetle suit here. The Jim Lee variants for all the issues in this series have traditionally been the most popular, but the standard edition has also cracked the Hottest Comics, coming in at #51.

61. STARS WARS: THE CLONE WARS #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Thrawn may be grabbing all the headlines, but his premiere issue wasn’t alone on this week’s Hottest Comics. Long held as one of the most collectible of all the Clone Wars-era issues, Ahsoka Tano’s comics debut in Clone Wars #1 hit record levels after she appeared in The Mandalorian.

On the cusp of her starring role in her own show, collectors were scouring eBay for that coveted Clone Wars #1. This was already a pricey key to own, and the latest interest should see it hit some year-highs.

63. MARVEL PREMIERE #15 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Just like that, Iron Fist is making waves in the secondary market once again. Marvel Premiere #15 has periodically appeared in the top-100 best-selling comics on eBay despite taking a mighty plummet after Netflix’s Iron Fist show bombed years ago. However, there’s more reason than ever to give this comic a second look.

With Daredevil: Born Again adding Jon Bernthal’s Punisher to the cast, it teases the arrival of Iron Fist to the MCU. That has buyers grabbing companies of MP #15 for what should be the inevitable.

99. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #20 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Who doesn’t love some classic ‘60s Spider-Man? Even better, this one is from the famed Steve Ditko era when so many of Spidey’s iconic villains were introduced to the pantheon.

There’s added emphasis on nabbing this issue for Scorpion’s first appearance. After all, there are heavy rumors that he will finally arrive in full costume in the next installment of the MCU’s Spider-Man franchise.
