Ahsoka caused a stir on eBay while a classic 1990s Wolverine key climbed the sales charts in this week’s Trending Comics.

It’s easy to get lost in the high rollers of the Hottest Comics. Many collectors and investors scroll through the top 10 best sellers on eBay, see if anything catches their attention, then move on. Keep paging through the full list, and you get a peek into what themes, trends, and surprise picks are garnering high sales. This time around, we’ve got some interesting finds for your reading and collecting pleasure.

23. KANAN: THE LAST PADAWAN #6 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Much has been written about Ahsoka’s low viewership numbers, but there’s no denying the show’s impact on the secondary market. Not only do we have Kanan #1 climbing the sales charts, but Kanan #6 made an impressive entry this week.

With the issue featuring the first appearances of Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and Hera Syndulla, it’s no wonder buyers were putting a larger spotlight here.

50. WOLVERINE #75 (NEW TO THE LIST)

For fans of 1990s X-Men, Wolverine #75 is an absolute classic issue. Besides the amazing Adam Kubert art, the story itself has one of the most brutal moments in Wolverine’s history.

It was in this comic that Magneto used his powers to rip the adamantium from Logan’s body. The moment was brought to the page in exquisite detail with the highly detailed art style so prevalent in the ‘90s.

In recent years, buyers have been showing more love for this one, and that’s helped propel it deep into the top eBay sales.

74. AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #328 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Todd McFarlane’s Marvel run is the stuff of legend. His artwork on both Hulk and Spider-Man made him a superstar artist in the early 1990s, and that fame helped launch Image Comics. While collectors show their appreciation for the Toddfather’s most famous works, ASM #328 is often overlooked.

This issue marked his departure from ASM as he shifted gears to Spider-Man before leaving Marvel altogether.

81. INCREDIBLE HULK #181 FACSIMILE FOIL EDITION (+16)

Those facsimile editions are proving to be worthy investments. While none of them bring even close to the originals’ prices, many of these reprints are doing well on the market. Of all those editions, the Hulk #181 facsimile has reigned supreme.

This one happens to be the foil edition, and buyers were putting it on their Wolverine shopping lists this week.

96. GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

All you kaiju fans must be happy with the new Godzilla projects on the slate. Kurt Russell and his son, Wyatt Russell, who played U.S.Agent in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will play the same character in Apple TV’s Godzilla show, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.

As enticing as that news has been, it’s the teaser trailer for Godzilla: Minus One that really has collectors on the hunt for the King of the Monster’s first Marvel comic. The prequel to the wildly popular Shin Godzilla from 2016 has fans anxious to see the monstrous icon’s retold origin, and that’s put Godzilla #1 back in the Hottest Comics.
