Those Batman #135 variants are climbing the eBay sales charts, and that commands a closer look at the latest trending comics.

It’s time again to dig deeper into the best-selling comics on the grandfather of all auction sites, eBay. While Spider-Man 2099 and Spider-Boy remain at the sales pinnacle, there are some contenders making moves a bit further down the rankings.

34. BATMAN #135 BIG TIME COLLECTIBLES PLATINUM EDITION (NEW TO THE LIST)

Big Time Collectibles’ run of Batman #135 variants has been lighting up eBay. While the platinum edition ranks the highest this week, there are other covers that have landed in the top 100 best sellers as well.

The variants mark the 900th issue of Batman, which is truly worth celebrating. However, with any hot new issue, there are no guarantees for how long it will stay hot, so be careful how much you are willing to invest in these.

35. THE SANDMAN #8 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Morpheus keys have been heating up as of late. Not only has The Sandman #1 made commotion on the Hottest Comics, but the first appearance of Dream’s sister, Death, has been gaining momentum. Since the Netflix show premiered, her debut in The Sandman #8 has been a frequent visitor on the eBay top-100 comics.

This week, it made an impact and landed in the Hottest Comics’ top half. As we await word on The Sandman’s second season, buyers are likely to stockpile those Death keys.

39. SPIDER-MAN INDIA #1 (+17)

Pavitr Prabhakar was one of the many highlights of Across the Spider-Verse. Similar to Spider-Man Noir, Pavitr stole all of his scenes with some hilarious lines that left the audience wanting more.

Judging by the movie’s ending, we will get plenty of Spider-Man India in Beyond the Spider-Verse, which will keep buyers on the trail of his first appearance in 2005’s aptly named Spider-Man India #1.

84. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES #4 (NEW TO THE LIST)

The Ninja Turtles are being reinvented for another generation of fans with Seth Rogen’s upcoming animated film, TMNT: Mutant Mayhem. The movie is inspiring a wave of collecting, which of course leads buyers on a hunt for those early Mirage issues. Even down to the sixth printing of TMNT #1 will cost you the proverbial arm and a leg.

Naturally, collectors turn their attention to other issues, like TMNT #4. There are no key appearances here to speak of, so that makes the price slightly lower than other early Ninja Turtles issues.

90. WEST COAST AVENGERS #1 (NEW TO THE LIST)

Ever since Hawkeye’s first season wrapped, talk of the West Coast Avengers forming on Disney Plus have died down. Suddenly, the first issue for the limited WCA title from 1984 (the team would get their first ongoing series a year later) has been thrust into the spotlight. It narrowly made it onto the Hottest Comics index, but it is here nonetheless.

Could this be a preview of things to come with the other West Coast Avengers keys climbing the sales charts in the coming weeks? Much of that could depend on what Marvel Studios has in store for what had been a highly anticipated team's MCU induction. By the time Vision Quest roles around, these issues should get more popular.
