Media Release -- In September, two comics legends meet for the very first time in WONDER WOMAN/CONAN #1 - and now, DC announces that this debut issue will arrive in stores with a new, blank variant cover, orderable under item code MAY178965.
WONDER WOMAN/CONAN is a six-issue miniseries co-published with Dark Horse Comics, written by Gail Simone, with art by Aaron Lopresti and Matt Ryan. Issue #1 features a cover by Darick Robertson and a variant cover by Liam Sharp.
This debut issue asks the question: What makes one a legend? How do legends carve their names into history, when countless others are forgotten? Wonder Woman and Conan the Barbarian are destined by the fates to be legendary, but when their stories collide, will both emerge victorious, or will the fickle Gods cut their lives short?
