MIKA AND THE CHILLER, by Agata Loth-Ignaciuk and Berenika Kolomycka, will be the third entry in the series, succeeding 2023's MIKA AND THE HOWLER and MIKA AND THE GURGLER.
The press release follows:
Media Release -- Oni Press, the multiple Eisner and Harvey Award-winning publisher of groundbreaking comics and graphic novels since 1997, is proud to announce MIKA AND THE CHILLER by Agata Loth-Ignaciuk & Berenika Kolomycka, the third volume in the fan-favorite children's series, following in the footsteps of the series' previous installments, 2023's MIKA AND THE HOWLER and MIKA AND THE GURGLER. In each installment, the lovable Mika's imagination turns everyday events into epic adventures, giving her a chance to learn, grow, and overcome her fears.
Meet Mika! Mika is a young explorer who faces familiar-yet-not-fully-known objects and obstacles around her house. Today's newest adventure? Meeting her new friend, Chiller, who hides inside her kitchen, occasionally escaping when you open its door. On a very hot day, Mika tries to let Chiller out to cool down the house. But when Chiller starts to cry, Mika will need to find a way to cheer up her friend. Join Mika as she learns how to take care of others in a sweet, simple, delightful story for young readers.
This time around, Mika's curiosity takes her to the kitchen, introducing her to a new friend who is less intimidating than those previous adventures. Ultimately, though, this new friend presents her own, unique challenges. MIKA AND THE CHILLER breezes into comic shops and bookstores everywhere in November 2025!
