Dynamite Entertainment will publish an omnibus edition of Andy Diggle and Aaron Campbell's WEAVER.
The press release follows:
Media Release -- Dynamite is excited to announce an upcoming complete omnibus paperback collection of Andy Diggle and Aaron Campbell's action-packed thriller Weaver.
Originally released in 2013 as Uncanny, the sci-fi/crime series received tons of praise, such as ComicVine deeming it, "A book any fan of gritty crime and intrigue should get their hands on." And now here's the chance to get all 300-plus pages in one handy collection.
Born with an uncanny ability, Weaver can steal other people's skills – their memories, abilities, and expertise – for a limited time. He's a man who could change the world, but as a professional gambler, con-man, and thief-for-hire, he prefers to look out for number one. That is, until he finds himself drawn into a dangerous game of international intrigue where the rules keep changing, the players are hidden… and the first thing he stands to lose is his life. Now Weaver is on the run, and his only hope is to turn the tables on his pursuers in a desperate gambit that will bring him face-to-face with the source of his power… and his own traumatic past.
This series brings together writer Andy Diggle with artist Aaron Campbell. Diggle is known for his work on Green Arrow: Year One, Daredevil, The Losers, and more. Campbell is a fan-favorite for his pulp work at Dynamite on titles The Shadow and Green Hornet: Year One. Recently he made a big critical splash with he and Si Spurrier's celebrated run on John Constantine: Hellblazer. Weaver also features stunning covers by Sean Phillips (Reckless, Criminal), Jock (The Losers, Batman), and Ben Oliver (Batwing). This paperback omnibus edition collects both seasons one and two of the original series into one amazing reading experience.
The WEAVER OMNIBUS is solicited in Diamond Comic Distributors' November 2023 Previews catalog, the premier source of merchandise for the comic book specialty market, and slated for release in January 2024. Comic book fans are encouraged to preorder copies of the book with their local comic book retailers. It will also be available for individual customer purchase through digital platforms courtesy of Comixology, Kindle, iBooks, Google Play, Dynamite Digital, ComicsPlus, and more!
