The DUTCH #0 prologue story will bring the beloved character back into action this November.
The press release follows:
Media Release -- From the combustible creative team of Joe Casey and Nathan Fox—Chap Yaep's iconic, golden era Image Comics character—Dutch—is back in action with the upcoming, Dutch #0. This new prologue chapter—which first appeared in the pages of the Image! Anthology—will bring fans a splash of '90s nostalgia and new readers an entry into Dutch greatness this November.
It's been thirty years since he served as the ultimate superhero soldier. Now his new life is shattered by an old enemy from the past. Will Dutch answer this newest call to action? And coming next year—the mayhem continues in the all-new, three-issue miniseries beginning with Dutch #1.
"This is the start of the biggest, most ambitious project I've ever done at Image Comics," said Casey. "And I'm insanely proud of what Nathan and I set up in this zero issue. Revisiting this kind of classic character, catching up with him—in real time—is a narrative luxury most superhero tales would never even attempt. So for all the old school Image fans—not to mention, for anyone who's curious what all the fuss was about back in '92—you can't afford to miss this. But I promise you... there's so much more to come!"
Dutch #0 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, November 15:
Dutch #0 Cover A by Fox
Dutch #0 Cover B by Ian Churchill
Dutch #0 Cover C by Jim Rugg
Dutch will also be available across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play.
