Psychedelic Art Exchange March Mega Auction is a showcase for the entire spectrum of rock and roll paper collectibles, original art, and related ephemera. The material offered spans multiple decades and covers a wide swath of musical genres. All mega sale items are in-house graded and authenticated.

Description

This design is one of the later creations from the pen of master artist Rick Griffin. This killer poster image was unofficially produced by the artist for a run of shows at the Berkeley Community Theatre in 1984. Grateful Dead Productions confiscated most copies of this poster as they were not officially sanctioned.

This poster is signed by the artist Frank Kozik!
This is a 1989 Frank Kozik poster designed for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Additional acts, Bucket Pets and Pocket Fishermen were supporting these shows in Houston and Austin, Texas. The image exhibits actress Sharron Tate, who was murdered by the Charles Mason family in 1969. Artist Frank Kozik got his start gaining popularity for designing posters around the Austin area in the late 80s and early 90s. His abilities grew and he has since become a member of the Stuckism art movement. His vast collection of beautiful work includes bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots.

This San Diego concert took place during the band's highly successful Fall 1971 North American Tour, which ran between October 15th through November 20th. This issue features great art, in Museum Quality condition, and 100% Original with no restoration.

Description

This Rick Griffin piece was published in 1968 by the Berkeley Bonaparte, an art company that the "Big Five" San Francisco poster artists founded in the late 1960s. The company was short-lived, but produced some amazing pieces, such as this one! 100% original with no restoration.
