Media Release -- Free Comic Book Day is here in just two days, and with it, the launch of the 96th annual Children's Book Week! Comic stores around the country will be handing out millions of comics to kids, and CBLDF is delighted to have our own kid-friendly title in the mix: Defend Comics!
Defend Comics features a cover by Dean Trippe and terrific original content spotlighting some of the most popular books for kids on the shelves today. It's as fun a selection of all-ages and early YA stories as there's likely to be, and if you have excited younger readers that are eager for a variety of cool comics, it's a great place to introduce them to comics! Defend Comics features some of the hottest creators in all-ages comics, including Gene Luen Yang and Sonny Liew (Shadow Hero), Andi Watson (Princess Decomposia, Skeleton Key), Larry Marder (Beanworld), Dan Parent (Archie, Kevin Keller), Jorge Aguirre and Rafael Rosado (Giants Beware!), and George O'Connor (The Olympians).
